Harold J. Miller Jr., M.D.
Harold J. Miller, M.D. is a New Orleans native and Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. He earned his degree at Louisiana State University Medical School and completed his internal medicine residency and endocrinology fellowship at Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation in New Orleans. He is a Fellow with the American College of Endocrinology.
Dr. Miller is at the Covington and Metairie offices.
Julie M. Talavera, M.D.
Julie Talavera, M.D. is Board Certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. Dr. Talavera graduated from Louisiana State University Medical School and completed her internal medicine residency and endocrinology fellowship at St. Vincent’s Hospital Manhattan.
Dr. Talavera is at the Metairie and Covington offices.
Tuan-Huy Vu Tran, M.D.
Tuan-Huy Tran, M.D. is Board Certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. He has additional certification in the field of thyroid ultrasonagraphy from the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. Dr. Tran graduated from Louisiana State University Medical School and completed his internal medicine residency and endocrinology fellowship at Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation in New Orleans.
Dr. Tran is at the Covington, Metairie and West Bank offices.

Jonathan K. Wise, M.D.
Jonathan K. Wise, M.D. is the founder of DMA. Dr. Wise is a graduate of Harvard Medical School and received his fellowship training in Endocrinology and Metabolism at Yale University School of Medicine. He is Board Certified in both Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism and Internal Medicine. Dr. Wise has served as Medical Director of Diabetes Programs and Metabolism Programs at several area hospitals.
Dr. Wise passed away surrounded by his loving family on June 27, 2023.
